First edition in illustrated paperback printed in red and black. - Early work of the Hungarian poet, author, painter and one of the main figures of the Hungarian avant-garde movement Lajos Kassák. After the collapse of the Hungarian Soviet Republic in 1919, Kassák fled to Vienna, where he published the magazine "MA" until 1925. He was influenced by the Constructivist movement and formulated the theoretical program of Hungarian Constructivism in his magazine. Kassák returned to Hungary in 1926 and continued publishing the avant-garde magazines "Dokumentum" (Document) in 1926 and later "Munka" (Work) between 1927 and 1938. - Lajos Gulácsy (1882-1932) was a Hungarian surrealist, expressionist painter. - Overall well-preserved and clean copy.
