Vollmer III, 567 - One of 90 copies on copperplate laid paper (GA. 100). - Ernst Penzoldt studied under Egger Lienz in Weimar and under Olde in Kassel. He worked as a sculptor and painter in Munich from 1918. - Browned due to paper (margins somewhat heavier in places), some foxing throughout (somewhat heavier in places), the title page with tears. Overall in good condition, the etchings in the impression with delicate plate tone and clearly visible platemark. With 6 signed orig. etchings. Loosely inserted in orig. half cloth portfolio with vignette on cover (somewhat stronger scuffed, rubbed, soiled a. bumped, spine with cover defects, inner covers somewhat foxed). - One of 90 coppies on laid paper (total edition 100). - Somewhat browned due to paper (the margins partly a bit more affected, somewhat foxed throughout (partly stronger), title page with defects. Altogether well preserved, die etchings with delicate plate tone and clearly visible plate mark. This work is taxed.
