There were also 12 numbered copies of the special edition (GA 512). - The surprisingly unsigned, magnificent Art Nouveau-style binding can be attributed to Charles Meunier, who created several similar bindings for the special editions. - The portrait of the author by Laszlo mentioned on the title refers to the first volume of the series. This novel is the fourth volume of the author's works published by Georges Richard between 1906 and 1912. - Outer cover and spine bound in. Sporadically with inconspicuous small foxing spots.
