D'Aguila wrote his vision of a geocentric universe in honor of the "Fondateur de cette sublime organization", the universe; little else is known about the author. In his account, he adheres to Joshua 10:12. In a multitude of tables and explanations, he proves that the sun has an orbit, and that the earth has its own orbit independent of all other celestial bodies, which at the same time forms the imaginary center of the universe. - The endpapers renewed, only occasionally with inconspicuous pale brown spots. Overall an extremely well-preserved and clean copy. Occult - With 8 folded engraved plates.
