Painting, Certificated by Archive Height: 58 cm, Width: 42 cm, Depth: 1 cm Rare and beautiful painted work by Fortunato Depero from 1948. The work bears the Signature in the lower left-hand corner. Work archived at the Archivio Unico per il catalogo delle opere futuriste di Fortunato Depero by Maurizio Scudiero, Rovereto, as per the attached photographic documentation with the relative inventory number. At that time, Depero was fascinated by American architects and building sites. In his notes, he wrote that it took a sharp mind to draw and design such acoustics and so, having to imagine and depict a typical American engineer, Depero imagined him like this with a halo of disks on his head. Depero's paintings are a reflection of the futurist evolution and present a strong expressive energy through the use of color and geometric shapes, two typical elements in the works of the second part of the art movement.
