Dressing table Height: 73 cm Width: 61 cm Depth: 42 cm Napoleon III style women's dressing table circa 1800. French dressing table with original ormolu supports and working lock and key. The top lifts to reveal a compartmentalized interior fitted with a mirror and ormolu hinges and lock designed with ornaments. The keyhole and table apron lock are decorated with a brass medallion inlaid in the same color. The whole rests on shaped cabriole legs of black lacquered wood with ornamental bronze frames. On either side of the drawer are bronze ornaments also in the edges of the table top. Inside is a mirror with brass ornaments. Under the drawer is a small pull-out box that serves as a work drawer.
