Note: Pierre LABADIE (1913 - 1973) studied with Paul Bigot, Eugène Beaudouin and Raymond Gravereaux at the Ecole des Beaux Arts from July 10, 1933 to June 1938. This poster project was probably the subject of a competition during his school years. The leftover labels, originally concealing the names of students and teachers, were probably intended to preserve the anonymity of the candidates. Paul BIGOT (1870 - 1942) is best known for building the Institute of Art and Archaeology on rue Michelet in Paris. He also specialized in the creation of commemorative monuments for the Great War.
