Chinese Elders armchair HEIGHT 96 cm, WIDTH 61 cm, DEPTH 42 cm, Made of solid wood, in China, around the late 1800s early 1900s. Its style is heavier and more intricate than classic Ming furniture designs, making it a later example of Chinese craftsmanship. The arms and uprights of the upper part of the chair feature S-shaped steps and culminate in dragon-inspired designs. The seat, deep and tapered, rests on solid legs with slender claw feet. A delicate floral motif is carved at the bottom.
