The Italian firm Aurora dedicates this limited edition of only 499 pieces, the year of its foundation, to the multifaceted Florentine Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci. Inspired by one of his works, the "Codex of the Flight of the Birds" of 1505. A further contribution by Aurora to the commemoration of the great geniuses who have so influenced Italian culture. Cap covered entirely in 18K gold profusely engraved with fragments of the codex and topped at the base with the name of the brand. Curved profile clip fitted with an original opening and closing mechanism, designed by the prestigious jeweler Giampiero Bodino, and evoking the sketches of the flying machines of the great Renaissance inventor. Body also covered in 18K gold engraved in the same way as the lid, and mouthpiece in high quality black resin. Screw clasp. Original hardwood case, documentation and paperweight. New, brand new.
