Probably Ottoman Empire, 19th century a gem-set gils silver female ceremonial belt. Decorated with silver filigree work. Lined with dark-red velvet. Weight: 13.2 oz., 374 g. Provenance: Private collection in Pennsylvania. Dimensions: Overall L: 34 1/2 in., (87.5 cm.) Three stones are missing, some possibly replaced.
