Of a rectangular form made of wood with nine drawers, silver mounted with two loose cast-silver handles on each side. The chest is covered in red (original) velvet. It is a fine piece of Spanish Colonial history — a travel companion of the Spanish nobility of the 18th century. Provenance: Private collection in Pennsylvania. Dimensions: 10 7/8 x 5 3/8 x 8 1/2 in., (27.8 x 13.5 x 21.5 cm.) The cabinet is in excellent condition considering its age.
