SLOPING DESK
Inlaid on all sides in rosewood and amaranth veneer, opening to a flap decorated with a Sèvres porcelain plate featuring a medallion of a bouquet of flowers. The interior reveals three small belted drawers and a sliding shelf. The top is upholstered in blue leather and gilded. Stands on four curved legs. Ornamented with chased ormolu moldings, rocailles staples and slippers.
Louis XV style - second half of the 19th century.
Mark with crowned C on the apocryphal bronzes.
