Measurements: 70 x 70 x 40 cm (closed).
Ingenious and versatile coffee table with sliding and reversible tops that allow to change its appearance in just a few seconds. It is an ideal piece of furniture for small spaces as the basic size is 70-70 cm, but can be extended up to 140-140 cm. It was designed by Bernard Vuarnesson and was manufactured by Bellato in Italy during the 1980s.
Bernard Vuarnesson was trained in engineering at the Ecole Supérieure du Bois (Ecole Supérieure du Bois) and in civil engineering at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris. In 1973, he founded the company "Sculptures-Jeux" with his wife Ariane. From 1975 to 1980, the couple taught outdoor playground design at the Ecole d'Architecture Intérieure Camondo in Paris. From 1982 onwards, their furniture used combinations of systems that made it possible to modulate the dimensions and appearance at any time.
