LE HENAFF Danuta (1923-2013) - Lot comprising an earthenware plate and platter with blue monochrome floral decoration. The pieces are signed under the base and date from the 1980s. D. plate 24 cm, D. dish 18 cm. Of Polish origin, Danuta Le Henaff left Poland in 1946 to settle in Paris and study at the École des Arts Appliqués, then lived in Madagascar where she met her husband, Yann Le Henaff, a soldier. On her return to France, she set up her studio in Larmor Plage. Her work was the subject of an exhibition in Pornic in summer 2011.
