Jar with depiction of the Virgin Mary - Nuremberg, around 1720-60 - The Virgin Mary on clouds in a foliate frame ("Kordenbusch reserve") on the front, large flowers and leaves on the sides. Faience with cobalt blue painting on a paste blue background; pewter mounting, medallion and owner's initials. H. 23.5 cm. - Handle restored, hairline cracks. - Cf. S.
