Four foot and arm bracelets - Ivory Coast, West Africa - Two cylindrical tomforogo of the Senufo with protruding rims and closed by a hinge, two manillas of the Baule with fluting and geometric decoration. Bronze. H. 9.5 to 12 cm. - Signs of use. - Manillas were probably also used as currency, as pre-coinage means of payment, so-called primitive money. - From a southern German private collection.
