Natural beech armchair with queen-size back.
The top rail is a basket-handle decorated with a flower and leafy clasps. The arms are supported by sinuous brackets. Front crosspiece adorned with a floral apron. Cambered base.
Stamped by Louis Cresson on the back crosspiece.
Paris work circa 1740 / 1750. Louis XV period.
Louis Cresson was awarded the title of Master in Paris in 1738.

Very fine craftsmanship in seat joinery.
Reversible reinforcement brackets. One front leg restored. Stoppers under the legs restored.
