Silk carpet, China, mid-20th century Silk velvet on silk foundation Prussian blue field decorated with a mosaic of circled ruby flower buds adorned with a central golden-yellow disc-shaped medallion inlaid with a stylized labyrinth. Four old gold spandrels with Greek-style ornamental motifs.
