A baluster-shaped silver sugar pot standing on four scrolled feet with leafy attachments. The body and lid are adorned with bat-decorated twisted ribs. The handles are decorated with foliage and shells. In the center of the body, a medallion surmounted by a ribboned bow and engraved with a coat of arms. The doucine lid is adorned with a catch formed by two strawberries resting on a bed of leaves. Paris, 1774-1780. Master goldsmith: Joseph-Theodore Van Cauwenbergh dit Vancombert, received in 1770.
