Large in-8°: xxv-[3]-427-[8] pp. (light trace of stamp on title-page). Bound by De Samblancx [sic]- Weckesser: green morocco, boards encircled with 3 gilt fillets, flat spine entirely gilt decorated with floral ornaments, gilt fillets on the edges, gilt roll-stamps and fillets on the turn ins, gilt edges. Under case. First edition of this bibliography of books in Amerind languages or about Amerind languages, published four centuries after the New World discovery by Christopher Colombus (1451-1506). Work printed by the National Library of Spain of which the copies numbered 88 to 387 were given to the author, as ours numbered 163 or 168 (cfr stamp).
