TEN SAUCER LAMPS W. max. 17.6 cm. Light brown to red clay, some with red or white slip. Punic and Hellenistic, 6th-3rd cent. B.C. Six round thick-walled and one oval fine-walled lamps without a foot; three thick-walled lamps with foot. All with edges folded in to form a spout. Nine lamps undamaged. Oval lamp reassembled from two parts; fragment of the spout missing. Some scorch marks; encrustation. Provenance: Coll. Hellbrauner bis roter Ton, partiell roter oder weisser Überzug. Punisch und Hellenistisch, 6.-3. Jh.v.C. Sechs runde, dickwandige und eine ovale, feinwandige Lampe ohne Fuss; drei dickwandige mit Standfuss. Allen eignet der zur Schnauze eingekniffene Rand. Neun Lampen intakt. Die ovale aus zwei Teilen zusammengesetzt; Fragment der Schnauze fehlt. Partiell Brandspuren; Versinterungen. Provenienz: Slg. Victor Winteler, Riehen, Schweiz, 1985-2010. - Die kleinste Lampe ehem.
