FOUR FRAGMENTS OF A KRATER H. max. 22.2 cm. Clay. Greek, Late Geometric Period, 2nd half of 8th cent. B.C. Shoulder with a frieze of stylized birds, a serpentine line framed by dots and a metope with blossom. The body of the vessel is decorated by reserved bands alternating with bands of black glaze. VIER FRAGMENTE EINES KRATERS H. max. 22.2 cm. Ton. Griechisch, Spätgeometrisch, 2. Hälfte 8. Jh.v.C. Schulter mit Fries aus stilisierten Vögeln, einer von Punkten gerahmten Schlangenlinie und Metopenfeld mit Blüte. Auf dem Gefässkörper alternierend tongrundige, horizontale Streifen und Flächen in schwarzem Glanzton. An einigen Stellen Farbabrieb. Leicht bestossen. Teilweise wieder zusammengesetzt.
