Cobalt blue, decorated with a large medallion depicting a courting couple and on the back is a scene by a lake with classical ruins. In the inside of the lid are stamps a handwritten inscription: "Alfonso Laborde y Cia. Buenos Aires". Gilded bronze mount. 94 x 42 cm.
