The Chinese boy (Karako) is holding a putty knife in one hand and placing his other hand on the snow man he has created. The snowman has transformed into Daruma, the Zen-patriarch, much to the delight of the boy. The tufts of hair of the Karako are inlaid in black horn. Underside with irregular, good himotoshi and signature NAOKAZU.

Condition: Very good condition. Fine patina, one age crack
