Höfisches Tablett aus dem Tafelsilber von Kaiser Wilhelm II. von Preußen (1859-1941)
Im flachen, rechteckigen Spiegel spätere Widmung mit den Signaturen von Prinz Louis Ferdinand von Preußen (1907-1994) und seiner Gattin
Prinzessin Kira von Preußen (1909-1967) aus dem Hause Romanow, dat.
16. April 1955. Glatter Anstieg, übergehend in geschweiften, mehrfach profilierten Rand mit reliefplastischem Blatt- und Kreuzbanddekor. Rückseitig graviertes, bekröntes Monogramm von König Wilhelm II., unterhalb Dat.
1898. Gest. 800, Herstellerzeichen. Gew. ca. 1660 g. 49,5 cm x 36 cm.
Das Tablett war wohl ein Geschenk von Prinz Louis Ferdinand von Preußen und seiner
Frau an die Luxemburger Großherzogsfamilie Jean von Nassau und Joséphine Charlotte anlässlich der Geburt ihres Sohnes Henri von Nassau am 16. April 1955.
