[End 18th-begin. 19th c.] Watercolour, laid paper 37,5 x 54 cm; signed "François Keiserman", "Roma" and titled in black ink in lower part (2 small scratches in the sky, faint stain to left part). Under glass and golden molded frame (not unframed). Good condition. Exquisite large landscape with 2 small figures making their way with donkeys in the foreground. By François/Franz Kaisermen/Keiserman (Yverdon Switzerland 1765-Rome 1833), painter of landscapes, water colourist, draughtsman; he was active in Italy from 1789 on to his death.
