The centre is decorated with a roundel enclosing two fish swimming amongst waterweeds. The rim is decorated with a classic scroll band. The exterior is covered with a flambe glaze. The base bears an apocryphal Xuande mark.
Condition: There is a section missing from the rim (approx. 11 cm. wide), with associated chips.
There is a crack to the rim (approx. 2.5 cm.).
Surface scratches.
