The rectangular sword slide is incised to the upper surface with interlocking ruyi-heads bordering a row of cross-hatched diamonds to the centre, a stylized beast-head is carved to one edge. The stone is of a celadon town with some russet inclusions and fine veins.

Condition: With a fine natural crack to one corner, with a small associated loss.
The underside of the short hooked edge possibly very slightly polished.
Small chips to the extremities and surface wear consistent with age.
