The group comprises: a circular plaque carved with Guanyin to one side and a mantra to the other; a rectangular plaque carved with a seated Guanyin; an oval plaque carved with a lady and boy to one side and poetic inscription to the other, hung on a necklace with white jade beads; a circular plaque carved with two birds and two bats, surmounted by an openwork lingzhi finial; and a small oval plaque carved with Guanyin to one side and the word ‘fo’ to the other.
The circular plaque with Guanyin: 4.7 cm. diam.
The rectangular plaque: 5.2 cm. long
The oval plaque with a lady: 5.7 cm. long
The circular plaque with two birds: 5.5 cm. long
The oval Guanyin plaque: 5.2 cm. long
Condition: All appear to be in overall good condition.
The rectangular plaque with a Guanyin has natural variations to the texture of the stone of the reverse.
