The camel is modelled standing foursquare with its impressive head raised and mouth open. It is crafted with a saddle and saddlebags decorated with tiger stripes.
Condition: Various repairs, including to the two front legs, and the upper section of the back legs.
Chips to the edge of the stand.
Flaking to the pigments.
Origin: China
Period: Tang dynasty (618-907)
