Each figure is modelled wearing a cap and long robes, each is seated on a horse standing foursquare with its head facing slightly to the left. One figure has its hands by his side, and the other has his hands raised.
The result of Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence test nos. C109f31 performed on the figure with its arms raised is consistent with the dating of this lot.

The figure with his hands down: some repair to the interior of the figure; the rear of the horse with fine cracks and possible repair.
