"La nichée"
Paire de candélabres à trois lumières en bronze à patine brune. Entre les trois montants figurant des roseaux, s'inscrit un nid où trois oisillons, becs ouverts, reçoivent la becquée d'un quatrième oiseau. Sur le deuxième candélabre, c'est un rat qui tient la place du parent absent. Base circulaire ouvragée ornée de trois escargots en haut relief formant piètement.
Signés "Cain" sur la base.

Decor of a bird's nest with three nestlings, receiving a beakful from a fourth bird. On the second candelabra, a rat is at the absent parents' place. Circular base adorned with three snails in high relief forming a base.
Signed "Cain" on the base.
