FAIRBANKS SNR. DOUGLAS: (1883-1939) American Actor, Academy Award winner. A good vintage signed and inscribed 7.5 x 9.5 photograph of Fairbanks standing in a three-quarter length pose, holding a pistol in each hand, in costume as The Gaucho from the 1927 silent film of the same name. Signed in dark fountain pen ink 'To Dorothy from her Gaucho, Douglas' and dated 1935 in his hand. A few very minor surface marks to the lower edge, otherwise VG
