Italian school of the XIX century. "Floral background". Oil on canvas. Measurements: 97 x 76 cm; 110 x 79 cm (frame). We are in front of a work of Renaissance inspiration, very much in the Italian taste, with a beautiful Medici cup in stone, decorated with colorful flowers and wrapped in garlands and rockery. Everything in the composition is rational, balanced and symmetrical, except for the flowers themselves, and is dominated by a palette of pastel colors. The composition is totally Renaissance, in the classical manner.
