OBIN, François "Plan de projet d'un jardin pittoresque pour Madame D'Harne à Tournay". Obin architecte de Lille", title in pen at top, legend in pen at left (few creases and sm. tears in margins, sl. toned at bottom right, few light stains). Charming, detailed lay-out of an English landscape garden with intertwining paths and a bridge. Every element is clearly labelled with a letter and described in the left margin. Obin (died in 1825) was a French architect based in Lille, who was involved in the project of the "Grand Hornu". Scale in "pied de tournay".
