Follower of Emile Prangey (1832-?): A pair of pendants with Arab riders on horseback, oil on canvas

A fine pair of orientalist paintings, showing Arab riders on their horses, after the much-celebrated originals by Emile Prangey. Each work bears a signature which is hard to decipher, we may read 'L. Alpinti', but can not find any known painter by this name.
