En excellent état de conservation et de fonctionnement, notre exemplaire a été entièrement révisé en juillet 2023 lors d'un service complet Vacheron Constantin. Lancée dans les années 90 comme un symbole d'élégance et de maîtrise horlogère après les années quartz, la référence 49005 sera au catalogue de la maison jusqu'à l'an 2000 environ.
