Actually, he was a gallerist of Modigliani and the work is exactly the sketch of the most popular portrait oil on canvas painted by the artist from Livorno in the same year". Slight creases of the paper along the right edge and one on the right cheek, two small water stains on the bottom left side, small tearing out of the paper on the high right edge.
