TWO POTS WITH SPIRAL DECORATION Clay, white-grey and white-yellowish slip, brown glaze. Mycenean, Late Helladic III A, ca. 1400-1300 B.C. Shoulder, edge of mouth, handle and edge of base painted. a) SPOUTED JUG. H. 11.5 cm. - One-handled, round-bodied jar with spout with semicircular cross-section standing on flat, round base. Reassembled, minor restorations. b) JUG. H. 9.8 cm. - Biconical, one-handled jug on a round, slightly offset base. A few fissures on body and neck. Provenance: Formerly priv. coll. Munich, 1990s. ZWEI GEFÄSSE MIT SPIRALDEKOR Ton, weissgrauer und weissgelber Überzug, dunkelbrauner Mattfirnis. Mykenisch, Späthelladisch III A 1-2, ca. 1400-1300 v.C. Schulter, Mündungsrand, Henkel und Bodenrand bemalt. a) SCHNABELKANNE. H. 11.5 cm. - Einhenklige, bauchige Kanne mit ausgestelltem Schnabel halbrunden Querschnitts auf flacher, runder Standfläche. Zusammengesetzt, einige Ergänzungen. b) KRUG. H. 9.8 cm. - Bikonischer, einhenkliger Krug auf rundem, leicht abgesetztem Fuss. Einige Spannungsrisse an Bauch und Hals. Provenienz: Ehem. Privatslg.
