A CUP, STIRRUP JAR AND PYXIS H. max. 14 cm. Red sand-coloured clay, in places with red slip, polished or red matt glaze, white paint. Eastern Mediterranean. a) CUP. - Biconical; flat base. Framed frieze of white chevrons on the outside. Reassembled; seams restored; edge worn. Eastern Mediterranean, MBA III-LBA I, 1700-1550 B.C. b) STIRRUP JAR. - Round, squat form; ring foot. Stirrup handle with funnel mouth in front of it. Both surrounded by painted-on fans and vigorously drawn concave and convex double bands. Body undamaged; mouth and ring foot restored. Abraded in places. Mycenaean, LH IIIA2-LH IIIB2, 1375-1190 B.C. c) SMALL PYXIS. - Four pierced feet and four more pierced lugs on the shoulder. Body undamaged; edge and two lugs worn.
