THREE VOTIVE STATUETTES AND A DOG APPLIQUE H. max. 10.4 cm. Bronze. Etruscan a) HERCULES. - Slim figure in mid-stride with a lion skin draped over his left arm and in his right hand a cudgel. Right upper arm preserved. Sabellian, 3rd-2nd cent. B.C. b) WORSHIPPER. - Figure with legs closed underneath a long apron-like garment; hands raised and pressed together. Illegible inscription on the back. On the underside a tang. Undamaged. 625?575 B.C. c) DANCING KORE. - Wearing a wreath and close-fitting chiton. Arms expansively extended; legs apart with one foot forward. Foot tangs. Left arm preserved down to the lower arm. Fiesole Group, according to Colonna. Umbrian, 5th cent. B.C. d) RECLINING DOG (?). Fresh-water patina. - Rear legs twisted out of the body's own axis. Applique for a vessel or furniture or as an animal companion for a statuette. Forelegs and hindquarters restored. Rechter Oberarm erhalten. Sabellisch, 3.-2. Jh.v.C. b) ADORANT. - Langer Schurz; Beine zusammengestellt; Hände zusammengelegt erhoben. Nicht lesbare Inschrift auf dem Rücken. Unten Dornfortsatz. Intakt. 625-575 v.C. c) TANZENDE KORE. - Bekränzt; enger Chiton. Arme ausgebreitet; Beine in Schrittstellung. Fussdorne. Linker Arm bis zum Unterarm erhalten. Gruppe Fiesole nach Colonna. U
