Rectangular Amboyna sewing box bearing an enamelled plate on the top of its lid. It contains sewing and embroidery tools , beauty and writing items. The inside of the lid presents a removable mirror. The tools are in mother-of-pearl and vermeil. L: 26.8 cm, W: 18.3 cm, H: 9.4 cm. It contains: 4 winders, a crystal bottle, an inkwell, a funnel, an eye wash and a glass jar with cotton wool. On the first platter: a seal, a needle box, a pencil, a thimble, two stilettoes, scissors, a small round box, a penholder, a tongue scrapper, a button hook, a ribbon threader and a flask for salt. On the second platter: a toothbrush and a moustache brush, a notebook, an earspoon, a comb, a lancet and a ruler.
