Underlaid on 18th-c. paper with ms. inscriptions, under framed paper passepartout. Figino (Milan 1548/1551-1608) was an Italian Renaissance painter from Milan, known as a major representative of the Lombard school of painting. He was particularly skilled at portrait painting. Prov.
