The vase is comprised of three sections, the neck is decorated with bats and lotus on a blue ground, the central globular section si decorated with three pierced medallions each enclosing six Luohan, all on a yellow ground decorated with lotus. The inner section is enamelled with lingzhi, bamboo, and narcissus, and the base is decorated with further bats and lotus. The base bears an apocryphal Qianlong mark. Condition: There are two small shallow chips to the foot (max. approx. 0.5 cm.), and a fine short firing crack (approx. 0.3 cm.). Otherwise the piece appears to be in overall good condition.
