A Chinese famille rose 'birds and flowers' pear-shaped... Lot n° 46

The vase is decorated with a continuous scene of birds in flight and perched on flowering branches, all amongst rocks, peonies, chrysanthemum and camellia. The base bears a Guangxu six-character mark in underglaze blue. Condition: There is a small chip to the rim (approx. 0.7 cm.). There is an area of glaze pull to the lower body (approx. 2 cm. long).
