The box is carved in imitation of a brocade-covered book box wrapped with a cloth tied to its top. The dark wood is decorated with lighter wood decorative inlays. The cover lifts up to reveal a tray with multiple compartments with pierced covers, and a single narrow drawer. Please note: this lot contains huanghuali and hongmu and is therefore subject to the relevant trade restrictions in correspondence with CITES regulations.
